Regarding property tax increases in our county. There will be a meeting at the Government Services Building, 200 E 4th, Woodbine, GA on October 19th, 2021 at 6:00 pm.
We urge you to attend the meeting and also give the board your valued opinion so that we can take a stance publicly.

Although the net milage rate will decline from 15.79 to 15.562 as a result of this vote, it is important to note that this vote is to support additional spending by the County. In order to maintain the same level of spending, the milage rate would need to be reduced to 14.878 (the rollback rate) from 15.79. See attachments below.
